Senior Business Analyst

In her role as Senior Business Analyst, Pascale heads the NSi team responsible for the commercial analysis of emerging technologies for NSi. Prior to joining NewSouth Innovations in 2008, Pascale was the IP and Commercialisation Manager for the ICT division of the CSIRO.

Pascale has worked extensively with start-up organisations in identifying potential commercial opportunities and establishing their business strategies. She has held positions in project management, business analysis and consulting. Her previous employers include Telstra, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources. Her areas of experience include telecommunications, biotechnology and information technology.

Pascale holds a Master of Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce degree from UNSW and is currently completing a Masters degree in Intellectual Property.

Business Analyst – Physical Sciences

In his role as a Business Analyst, Sharat is responsible for providing analytical support and commercial assessment of emerging technologies. Prior to joining NSi in 2008, Sharat worked as a business analyst in the consulting industry, with both Deloitte and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Sharat has been involved in a number of online technology projects, as well as commercial consulting projects across a variety of industries including telecommunications, retail, financial services and government. Sharat was also involved in the creation of an innovation management system for Deloitte, which included the development of an online collaboration tool to manage the commercialisation process within the firm.

Sharat holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Software) degree from UNSW and is in the process of completing a Masters in Commerce.
