Deputy Legal Counsel

Miranda has over 6 years experience in intellectual property licensing and international commercial transactions with a background in the media and entertainment industries.

Her previous employers include the British Broadcasting Corporation, Sesame Workshop and Energee Entertainment where she acted in legal and commercial executive roles. Miranda also has experience in government policy and has worked with the Australian Digital Alliance and the Department of Communications, IT and Arts in the developing intellectual property and telecommunications policy.

Miranda holds a Bachelor of Arts (Mass Communications) and a Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University and is admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of NSW.

Intellectual Property Manager

Prior to his appointment at NSi as IP Manager, Ion was an Administrative Public Officer with IP Australia (Sydney's State Office), a private IP consultant, Licensing Officer at Unisearch, IP Officer at Aristocrat, and IP & Licensing Manager at Research & Innovation Office, University of Technology Sydney.

Currently, Ion is a member of NSi's Legal Team reporting to Legal Counsel. He provides guidance and hands-on assistance to Business Development Managers in the conduct of due diligence related to ownership issues associated with intellectual property to be commercialised by NSi.

Ion’s is skilled in counselling CEOs, CTOs, and general managers of R&D, marketing and sales in all areas of IP rights, corporate due diligence, and investigations related to IP enforcement and litigation.
