NewSouth Innovations Pty Limited (NSi) commercialises research and technologies developed at the University of New South Wales (UNSW).

The NSi team work with UNSW researchers and industry partners from the earliest stages of research to ensure that technologies developed at the University have the appropriate patent protection and are commercialised to succeed as marketable products.

We provide an opportunity for UNSW’s Faculties, Schools and Research Centres to work with industry as we work together to take their technology on the best possible commercialisation path. We act on behalf of UNSW to protect and exploit Intellectual Property within the bounds of the University’s Intellectual Property Policy.
